She grew up in Saudi Arabia and has spent the last decade sailing around the world, documenting adventure sports, swimming elephants, and everything in between. Huahine, French PolynesiaMystical and captivating, Huahine is a small island that is part of the larger Society Islands group in French Polynesia. Despite its lush forests, untamed landscape, and quaint villages, Huahine has considerably less tourists than its sister islands Bora Bora and Moorea. As a result, it’s relatively unchanged by the modern world and offers a glimpse of what old Polynesia must have been like. A pristine landscape combined with ocean breezes creates ideal conditions for paragliders to fly for hours over the perfection of the crystal clear lagoons below. The island has a population of approximately 6,400 people and only six of them make up the local paragliding club. Needless to say, they were only too happy to share their special flying spot with us.
